London to Paris

I just got back from the most epic shoot and trip i have ever been on. Highs, lows, blood, sweat and tears -all real- but they made it. These guys rode from London to Paris.

Riding Day 1 - London to Newhaven 80+ miles with a 10 mile sprint to the ferry at the end.

Riding Day 2- Dieppe to Paris in 1 day 125 miles, wow. I'm sooo proud of them all and am grateful that i was part of their journey.

Being one of 2 girls with 13 guys was definitely an experience.

These are just iphone photos I managed to snap on the way, real post soon, had to share though.

Mad love to Kyle at DQM for everything. My new BFF.

LETICIA BUFONI

A while back i was watching a interview on Thrasher with Elissa Steamer, and she mentioned Leticia Bufoni as someone to watch out for, I didnt know who she was at the time but googled her and found out that she was this 15 year old Brazilian girl that fucking ripped. Then recently cooler magazine did a nice little intro interview with her, check it. Last week she got 1st In the Maloof Money Cup Girl Street Finals, she destroyed it. I'm gonna be keeping a close eye on her.

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I WENT TO SF FOR BUST OR BAIL SHE WAS GREAT!

INSA EXHIBITION

Insa had an opening last night at the Nike Sportwear 1948 space. I’m not the biggest fan of his work, but do like that he does sexy heels and swimwear for girls! Overall it was really well executed, here’s the blurb…

“Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places is the new solo installation and exhibition by London-based artist INSA, and opens on 17th July in association with the Nike Sportswear IAM1 launch of the 2009 Air Maxim.

INSA’s first London show of 2009 will be a spectacular return in true INSA fashion, a multimedia mix of large scale installations, canvases, photography, prints, exclusive collaboration products and a stunning animation made up of 35 frames which were hand painted across east London in 7 days.

The Nike Sportswear IAM1 project celebrates the launch of the Air Maxim, the evolved ’87 Air Max 1 for 2009 and an all encompassing London project that brings together Charlie Dark and the Run Dem Crew, the talented young producer Goldielocks, visionary artist Benedict Radcliffe and of course INSA.”

Location: 1948, Arches 477 – 478, Batemans Row, Shoreditch, London, EC2 3HH

CHARGE PRESS DAY

My friends Juliet and Posy have started a company called Final Agency. They’ll be doing lots of cool shit like press days and events etc.

They kicked it off last night with a press day for Charge bikes, for whom they both also ride for! They have some great new products coming out, i particularly like the Scissor, frame and forks, which Superted has designed, i don’t have a pic tho.

But more info about the products on Juliet’s blog.
