TOKYO DAY 1 ...

Jetlag is killing me.. it is like 4am in Tokyo right now... I can't sleep...

I had about 3 hours sleep in the 48hours before leaving for JAPAN.. WIRED...

These are all backberry photos as I am shooting all my photos on this... so just a quick update...

We flew from LONDON to ZURICH to connect to our plane to Tokyo ....

This was the smallest plane with the craziest design....

Flying BUSINESS CLASS is great on long flights as they have beds so you can sleep.. i got my 8 hours in!

Plus the food is good...

And I got to sit next to CARRI the whole time!

We got in to TOKYO at 7am and got the bus to the city, we are staying in GINZA

I have expensive looking nails courtesy of WAH NAILS, as always

And expensive vintage VERSACE shades that |I just brought from Zone7Style he has the best shit!

As soon as we got to the city there was a protest going on but we couldn't understand what it was about...

Jet-lagged we had to go straight for a meeting at SWATCH HQ

How sick is their lift!

Our good friend Jarrett Reynolds from NIKE was randomly in town so we went to the smallest Punk bar in Shibuya ....

NEW WORK STUDIO...

I have just moved into my new work studio in SHOREDITCH, EAST LONDON!!! I am soo excited!!! After so many years of working from home it's amazing separate my work/ home life... otherwise you just spend ALL THE TIME working. I spent today building some furniture and organising the space... over the next few weeks I will decorate/ make it look cool... If you are about come say hi.

I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT BEYONCE IN THIS.. it's so natural, the way she looks, the way she dances, the way she sings, she kept it cool.

SWATCH AND ART...

For the last 2 months my life has been consumed by SWATCH.

I have been doing the film communication for the SWATCH AND ART collection: SWATCH has collaborated with 4 ARTISTS from across the world ... CASSETTE PLAYA, IVAN NAVARRO, MANISH ARORA AND ENKI BILAL ... I directed the documentaries on the artists, virals and all the event coverage.. it's been really fun  becoming obsessed with the brand and the artists... We all remember the 'POP SWATCH' so it is great that they are creating products that are relevant and that we can identify with.

The films will be going online over the next few weeks but here is a short viral from the Cassette Playa piece...




They did a massive launch party on the 8th May  at SHUNT under London bridge station, it was sick! There were a series of tunnels and each tunnel was a different world relating to the artists you can see in the photos and the video...
